We are not finding the web site or the app for My Disney Experience to be particularly magical. Though we understand it is undergoing magical enhancements.
Greetings all – I (Lisa) am still trying to figure out how to edit (quickly) in the “new” GarageBand – oh my, my head hurts! Between Jennifer and her family being so busy, Trace graduating and trying to deal with the loss of my beloved Magpie AND having Cookie, our Boston, suffering from a sudden, severe and (hopefully) reversible back injury and get going on packing….. I’m just trying to figure out HOW THE HECK TO EDIT MY AUDIO and not have a coronary!
My plan is to get the show I am working on finished and posted by this weekend, then likely we will take a long bye until I return from Alaska AND TALK MORE ABOUT THAT. :)
Thank you so much for your patience!!
PS I hate Mavericks
PPS I hate GarageBand 10.0
Jennifer reports back on Anime Boston 2014, where she and Constantine presented Cheer Up Emo Kid: Anime That Makes You Happy. She also talks a bit about the upcoming PAX East, and this summer’s ConnectiCon 2014. Spoiler: If you wanna see Jennifer at ConnectiCon, you gotta be there Friday!
So many things on our mind this week!
- Deb Wills’ photos from Asia, which you can see on her Twitter feed. Here’s one of Jennifer’s favorites.
- The movie Frozen, which Jennifer finally saw.
- The Mickey Milers running team, which Jennifer has joined, and is working on convincing Lisa to join too!
- A moving story of an autistic boy whose parents and health care professionals capitalize on his affinity for Disney movies, with remarkable results.
The first 33 seconds of that video are the best part of Leroy and Stitch. Trust us on this.
This week, we talk about the plethora of Stitch-Based Entertainment (SBE): Lilo and Stitch; Stitch! The Movie; Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch; and Leroy and Stitch. Jennifer watched them ALL in the first few days of 2014. This is a higher concentration of SBE than we can recommend.
UPDATE: I, Cat #2, mislabeled this show and the following week’s show! This IS show #256 – NOT show #261. I have no idea where I pulled that number out of. No comments please. :)
This week, Trace talks about the highs and lows of his recent Disneyland trip that he took with Wayne. ALLEGEDLY. Then we are playing the first of three “Memory Room” talks given by Disney Legends Bob Gurr and Rolly Crump (the two other talks will be played for next weeks show).
We will also be having a little give away – make a comment here on the blog or over on our facebook page by midnight July 19th and we will enter one entry per person into the pot to win a nifty LE Tiki Room pin – oh boy!
Now here are some of those pictures Trace promised y’all:
