Number 9. Number 9. Ok, random Beatles reference there. Now, moving right along..
From Norway to Marceline, The Cats are back, it’s summertime and the living is easy. Join us this week as we discuss the delicious tidbits that are Norwegian cuisine, what a trip around Epcot’s World Showcase does and does not mean, and, of course, Borup (duh).
Also, our very first Meow Mix interviewee, Trace (from the state of which I am the mayor), tells Cat #2 all about ToonFest!

~Trace is our homeboy~
Take a listen, leave a comment on iTunes (if so moved) and send or post a comment here! Thanks to Jeff W. for his continued mixing and scratching capabilities, and DEFINITELY give a listen to last Friday’s AATM episode featuring the real life Belle!
UPDATE: Fabulous!!! I just pressed “publish” and realized I didn’t record the little intro – soooooooo after you press play, say softly to yourself: “This is Those Darn Cats, Episode #9 for July 9th, 2008″. Thank you for your support!
a friend for pal mickey?

Hey there! This is Heather…the one having the BBQ during Toonfest! This was SO fun and FUNNY to listen to! I laughed at the Epcot discussion! I am glad that there are others who think like me.
I look forward to your next podcast!

[...] WDW Today? It would have been nice under any circumstances…but it was doubly amusing because this week’s Those Darn Cats podcast also mentions that same tasty Norwegian treat! We also touch upon Lutefisk, a delicacy you’re [...]

Fun Podcast. Enjoyed hearing Trace again.

This is Doug, another member of Trace’s Toonfest entourage. Enjoyed the show and getting to hear Traceman preach the gospel of Marceline again. He promises this will be a laid back relaxing trip, unlike our last trip to DL…but Wayne and I have our doubts…
Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone at Tracefest…er…Toonfest

OMG! those darn cats! that darn Trace! lol. i would much rather be leaving my comment on him with a pink marker, lol, inside joke, but this was an outstanding podcast! The whole thing was fun, heck, the whole site is great. how cool – the music, the stories, the fish………. I can hardly wait to hear the next one, over and over again.
Maybe i will be able to sell enough plasma to go to toonfest.

OK, it was a hysterical show but perhaps it needs a disclaimer about what might happen if you listen while driving. Anyway what I want to know is who was the first person to think it was a good idea to mix dried fish with caustic chemicals. Culinarily speaking that combination would never have occurred to me.

Thanks for all the kind comments everybody!
And yeah, George….I simply cannot imagine what prompted the first person to soak dried fish in lye. Perhaps a suicide attempt gone awry?

Ok just so I’m clear Toon fest is on Sept 20th? Additional dates?
The web site has event desriptions from 2006 and 2007.
If my work schedule remains the same I should hit my four day weekend at that time.
So I very well may make it down.

First off I loved the intro. Nice job. Good thing I was alone at work tonight when I was listening to this. LMAO! Great show cats.

I just wanted to say thank you for several reasons. Thank you for the weekly podcast and all the laughs that come with each show. Thank you to Jennifer and Lisa for having me on The Meow Mix. I hope you could not tell how nervous I was.
I hope to see all at Toonfest! Dusty Millers will be had by all. (It’s an ice cream Lisa) They say all roads lead to Marceline… I was told that on a visit to Marceline.
Toonfest Jennifer? Maybe?
